The Fraternity of Residents' Associations Thiruvananthapuram, widely called "FRATERNITY", is composed of members numbering more than 900 Registered Residents' Associations in the capital district. FRATERNITY is a reliable umbrella for residents who might want to take shelter under it when their rights are not heard and resolved by those concerned. FRATERNITY means real brotherhood and accounts for compassion, cooperation, coordination and coexistence. Transparency is the hallmark of Fraternity.

The sole objective of FRATERNITY is to serve its members with a true sense of responsibility for its acts of commission and omission. FRATERNITY, which has now begun to grow in size, is not a rival to any similar organization, but an alternate solution to the aspirations of the residents. FRATERNITY, which is of the residents, by the residents and for the residents, sincerely welcomes any residents' association meaningfully functioning in the district of Thiruvananthapuram, and willing to join, strengthen and guide FRATERNITY.

At a time when agencies including governments, both Union and State, have recognized the importance of residents' associations in the country and their laudable role in facilitating the implementation of various programmes, we should stay united and work concerted. It is the need of the hour. We, therefore, appeal to you to arise, awake and stop not till FRATERNITY becomes an invincible power of unity.
